W. H. Fairclough

10, 1937 - January 30, 2014
Arthur was Perky Promenaders' resident "Englishman."
A dependable, take charge kind of guy with subtle British humor.
Arthur and Nancy were
members of Perkys for over 20 years. They served on many committees,
including working on the 2000 National Square and Round Dance
Convention in Baltimore MD, and chaired the last Wildwood Weekend.
They served as Secretary, VP, and as President of the club for
two years. He was instrumental in getting the Saturday night
dances started with level-of-the-floor calling, in moving Perkys
from the Plymouth Meeting Mall to Ascension UCC, and in changing
our dues structure.
Arthur and Nancy just
celebrated their 30th year of marriage in January. He will be
missed by all who knew him.
